Department of Nephrology

The Department of Nephrology is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with all types of kidney disorders. It specializes in diagnosing, managing, and treating chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, and other renal complications. The department offers a wide range of services, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, renal transplantation, plasmapheresis, and immunoadsorption, ensuring patients receive personalized care for their specific needs. It handles complex cases such as ABO-incompatible transplants, HIV/HBV/HCV-positive patients, and sensitized recipients, as well as critically ill patients requiring ICU hemodialysis and multidisciplinary management. The department also provides advanced renal histopathology and immunohistochemistry, allowing timely diagnosis and effective treatment of severe kidney diseases, including transplant rejection and rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis (RPGN).
